ADMISSION
Admission will be made as per rules and regulations of the competent
authority.
ACADEMIC SESSION
The academic session commences in July every year and terminates in
June of the next year or so as wanted by the university.
Eligibility for Admission
Candidates with at least 45% marks in bachelor/Master degree are
eligible for admission as per norms of the University of Gour Banga and N.C.T.E.
ADMISSION FEES
Rupees 45,000/- (Rs. Forty one thousand only) for the B.Ed. course to
be paid at the time of admission as per agreement made between the college and
higher education department Govt. of West Bengal excluding University
Registration and Examination Fees, caution and other fees.
The total amount may be deposited by cash or through Bank Draft of State Bank of
India or any Bank payable at Malda in favour of VIDYASAGAR TEACHERS’ TRAINING
COLLEGE, Malda.
Admission forms and prospectus are available from the office of Vidyasagar
Teachers’ Training College, Sagardighi, Post. Kamlabari, Dist. - Malda. The cost
of Forms along with Prospectus is Rs. 300/- (Rs. Three hundred only.)
The admission forms duly filled in all respect are to be submitted to the
college on or before the during office hours. 100% points roster will be
followed for admission to SC/ST and Handicapped candidates as per latest order
of the State Government and the University of Gour Banga.

RESERVATION
As per provisions made by the Govt. the seats will be reserved as
under:-
Schedule Caste ....................... 22% of the total Sanctioned seats
Schedule Tribe ........................ 06% of the total Sanctioned seats
Physically handicapped ............ 03% of the total Sanctioned seats
Other University ...................... 05% of the total Sanctioned seats
